Winter Precipitation in High Elevations

How does WUFI model winter precipitation in high elevations? Do WUFI weather data files distinguish between snow and rain?

Yes, WUFI® just assumes that every precipitation at exterior temperatures below 0 °C is snow. In this case there will be no liquid water uptake through the exterior surface.
