Hi everyone,
I’m a bachelor student currently writing my thesis on “Analyse af fugtindtrængning i træbjælker og indplacering i anvendelsesklasser.”
In my project, I’m using WUFI 2D to study the moisture distribution through a timber cross-section.
I’m using the Area Selection feature to look at the moisture content in different parts of the section — but each selected area is exported as a separate Excel file.
For a single cross-section, this results in hundreds of files, which makes it very time-consuming to extract and combine the data.
Is there any way to export all area selections together or otherwise automate the process (for example with a script, Excel macro, or another method)?
My goal is to extract the moisture distribution across the full section efficiently, without having to manually merge all the individual Excel files.
Any tips or experience with automating this process would be very helpful.

Dear Dennis,
the batch export is not possible here, but maybe some hints:

the batch export is not possible here, but maybe some hints:
- Have a look on the templates, there you can define a kind of auto-export.
- You can export all series which are displayed in one diagram - further it is possible to drag and drop the series into another diagram. So my idea would be to use a copy of your graph project and move all your series into one diagram
- In wufi2dmotion you can export the profiles of T RH and WC for one time step using a right click -> extract inital conditions
