Defining multiple hygrothermal functions for a bio-based insulation in WUFI 2D

Post by Amal HK »

Hello,
I am running a simulation in WUFI 2D for a roof made of a bio-based insulation material. When defining the material properties, if I enter the sorption curve, does this mean that I can only use the water content as a function of relative humidity, without being able to define other hygrothermal functions at the same time?
Specifically, I would like to provide the thermal conductivity of the insulation as a function of the water content. Is it possible to combine these functions in WUFI 2D, and if so, how can this be done?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Amal,

the thermal conductivity depending on the water content is handled in the "Thermal Conductivity, moisture dependent":
thermal conductivity, moisture dependent
thermal conductivity, moisture dependent
