Installation of VTT
Installation of VTT
I'm using WUFI Passive/Plus and need to use VTT. However after I install VTT it does not become available as a post-processor. I've checked wufi.ini and it seems to point to the correct place. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Installation of VTT
WUFI VTT or WUFI Bio should be displayed in the Film viewer (take a look at the help topic Assessing the results)
Re: Installation of VTT
Thanks, Sebastian. That's where I was looking. I presume VTT should show up as a button like WUFI Bio typically should. Although after installing Bio I stil don't see either in the extended animation window.
Re: Installation of VTT
Also, WUFI Bio doesn't show up anymore either.

Re: Installation of VTT
Do you have any luck showing the post processors by clicking on the right button named "Extended animation"?
Re: Installation of VTT
No, it's not there. Once I open the extended animation, which opens WUFI Animation 1D, I don't see Bio nor VTT buttons on top menu bar as expected. But both Bio and VTT have been installed.

Re: Installation of VTT
Please try the following to get this working:
- Append the following to the file %PROGRAMDATA%\WUFI\wufi.ini:
If you are unable to save the changes to the file, save it under a different name such as wufi-new.ini, delete the old wufi.ini and rename the file to wufi.ini.
Code: Select all
[WUFI6] PostProcessorPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\WUFI\PostProc\ - In order to run the Postprocessors download and install the latest WUFI-JRE from here.
Re: Installation of VTT
Thank you!
I installed WUFI-JRE64 and added that bit of code to wufi.ini. That seemed to have worked.

Re: Installation of VTT
I have this exact same problem. Would it be possible to explain a bit further how to do this? For instance where do I find this file:%PROGRAMDATA%\WUFI\wufi.ini? and how exactly do I append it?

Re: Installation of VTT
OK, I figured it out. Sorry I'm not a Windows user so it took me a while!
Re: Installation of VTT
I've gone through these steps again for a new machine because I experienced the same issues initially.
But, now then I click VTT (now FinMould) and then a material layer in WUDI Animation 1D, the FinMould/VTT splash screen appears onscreen for a split second, but the app does not come up afterwards.
No idea what could be happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
can you please send us the logfiles to "support at wufi dot com".
You can them in the folder:
Just insert that into your file explorers address field.
Please send wufi7.log and vtt.log from a date, that happened.
