Importing climate to the map

Hi,

this is my first post here, so let say Hello to all of you just in the beginning.

I've been using Wufi Pro for almost an year now, but today was the first time when I tried to use outsource weather data. For import I used CreateClimateFile.xls
It went quite smooth so I started to wonder is it possible to add a new location with weather data to the map (among other pre-defined locations).

Is it possible and if yes, how to do it?

Hi Piotr,

welcome to the forum. The map can not be edited by the user, so you have to use the 'Browse...' button to select your user-created climate file.

It would not be easy to make the map user-editable, because the user would have to enter the pixel coordinates for the dot on the map and the coordinates and time zone for the location; if there are multiple files for the same location, they would have to be handled appropriately etc...

If you would have too much spare time, you might think of adding this kind of option to Wufi. But I can imagine there are better things to do
