data interpretation

On a recent simulation that I ran, the OSB had a maximum water content of 6 lb/cf. What does this mean and what can I derive from this data?

Dear Mr. Furtaw,

in german standards it is advised not to have more than 20 mass percent water in wooden based materials so the bulk density is also of interest.

But there may be US standards which can contain different information and I don´t know them.

Manfred,
I can see if I can find the applicable US standards for bulk density but, is there any relation to the RH of the material and what is the standard. In other words is the RH too high or is it nomal for the OSB?
If you have a chance could you call me today? You have my phone number.
Thanks,
Charley
