Hello,
I'm trying to model a slate castle roof nailed onto oak sheathing without an air gap. How can I define the water vapour diffusion and porosity of this material ?
Thanks

Re: Slate roof
Hi,
the only values for the slate roof I found where in a German research report. In there for a slate roof teh following effective sd-values where given:
Natural slate sd = 3,5 m
Synthetic slate sd = 6 m
You can use this sd-values directly as a sd-value in the surface transfer coefficients instead of creating a layer.
