Simulating unventilated cold roof

I need to simulate an unventilated pitched cold roof, but I am not sure how to simulate the loft space. Can this inhabitable big space be simulated like a normal air cavity?

I've also been asked to look at a cold roof situation to determine the amount of ventilation needed.
Is there any guidance on doing this in WUFI please?

However I'm looking at this sort of build-up which is not in the guidelines you have linked to.

Hi David,

the attic space itself can not expressed in WUFI as an air layer, as there will be a significant influence of the convection.
We set up models to derive the interior climate from the outside conditions for unheated attic spaces, but this is only available in German at the moment. Maybe you can use some online translation tool.

Another way would be to model the attic space in WUFI Plus and calculate the attic space climate conditions which then can be used as boundary conditions for WUFI Pro or 2D.
