We finally fixed it.
The users downloaded a 'fresh' copy of the software from the website (we were installing from a factory CD) and it prompted him for a serial number and info. It installed, it's licensed and it's working.
There was a serial.ini in the install folder BTW.

Install Problems
Installing this for my user on a Windows 7 32 bit laptop.
During install of WUFI 5.1 it never asks for the user name, organization, serial number.
So after installation it does not run (install goes fine otherwise) because it has the trial serial numbers -- which for the life of me I cannot trace ...
