Re: Calibrate moisture content
You do not have to get rid of them. The first spike is depending on the initial moisture of your construction. In the first year/ years the initial moisture is being redistributed, your construction tries to come to its equilibrium.

Calibrate moisture content
Hello!
We are currently working on our bachelor thesis and we are investegating the moisture content inside a church wall. The purpose is to compare the moisture content within the wall with the current climate to a new indoor climate where we will set the min temp to 10 degrees etc. We have some ...

Alright, thank you!Christian Bludau wrote:Hello Jesper and Hendric,
no, it does not matter if you use a material as one layer or split in into different layers. The sum of the thickness has to be the original thickness of the layer.

Calculate a single wall supposed to the same divided
Hi!
We have a medieval wall which is made up with stone and mortar. The wall is 1,4m thick and the ratio between mortar and stone is estimated. Would it be any difference in calculateing the wall as one unit supposed to 4 smaller walls? The purpose of the calculation is to see the stabelized the ...

Re: How to construct a wall made up with stone blocks and mortar?
Hi Dorita
One approach is to model a 'sandwich' of stone/mortar/stone. This is described by Joseph Little, and 'validated' using a comparison with Wufi 2D in the following document:

Re: How to calibrate indoor climate?
Hello Jesper and Hendric,
in the first step I would use the indoor logger data as indoor conditions. You also can use a sine curve and fit it to logger data. Best would be to set up data for a hole year, because with shorter climate data you can not calculate multiple years to extend the ...

Dear Jesper and Hanric,
please see here, its the same discussion with clinker instead of granite.
https://www.wufi-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=2848#p2848
The only way in WUFI Pro would be to create a material, which includes granite and joints. Otherwise you could set up the wall in 2D modeling ...

How to construct a wall made up with stone blocks and mortar?
Hi fellow WUFI-users!
We examine a medieval Swedish church in our bachelor thesis and are pretty new to WUFI. We are wondering if it is possible to construct a granite wall made up with granite blocks and mortar inbetween, instead of just an massive granite wall. If it is possible, how do we ...
