Air Exchange Source

Hello

When adapting an air exchange source, you should just give it the same size and coordinates as the air layer you wish to ventilate?

I have tried this on a window frame where i adapted a air exchange source with a constant magnitude of 5/h. I expected to see a lower moisture content, but in fact it rose.
I guess something must have gone wrong. When you put a air exhange in your contruction wouldn´t it result in a lower moisture content? or has it something to due with temperature of the air layer?

best regards

Hello,

yes, an air exchange source should cover the whole air layer.

The moisture not necessarily causes a lower moisture content.
The model "mixes up" the air volume with the temperature and relative humidity of the defined boundary condition. So if the moisture is higher at this boundary condition, the air exchange source can result in a higher moisture as well.
