Hello everyone,

i'm in trouble with wufi 2D 3.3 because the calculation does not start when i hit the "start" button in the processing chapter.

The software gives me a error which i don't understand. I'm still beginner with the wufi use.

the message is the following:

forrtl: severe (172): Program Exception - exception code = 0x2b4 (692)

Could anybody help us to find out why i get this error? I checked all the geometry, materials and surface/climate chapters but i don't see what goes wrong...

Thanks for your help,

Best Regards

Hi,

I guess you are on an Athlon 64.

Have you got a 64bit Version of MSWindows? If yes you should use the 64bit binary located in sub directory "x64" of your installation folder. In WUFI2D open "Options->Settings->File" and press the button right to the textfield [...]. Navigate to "IBP-Software/WUFI2D-3/x64", select w2d_flow.exe and confirm.
If not please send me an email.

Regards
Veit

Hi,

I have the same error however I have a 32bit of windows.

When I tried to change to the "IBP-Software/WUFI2D-3/x64" and ran the process i get a warning that saying "the parameters are incorrect".

I have gone through all the different options I could think of and have followed the WUFI 2D Calculation Example Step by Step.

Hopefully someone can help,

Thank you

Hello,
this can happen with certain kinds of AMD-processors. Try to download this Kernel:
