I am currently experiencing an issue when trying to import geometry from SketchUp Pro 2019 into WUFI® Plus v3.5.0.1.
I have installed the SketchUp plugin as described in the manual, and most parts of the plugin seem to work. However, I cannot export the geometry as a .wps file:
When I click “Save geometry”, the dialog pops up, but the file type field is empty, so I cannot save a .wps file.
When I click “Export geometry”, the SketchUp window switches to WUFI Plus, but nothing is imported into the software, even though WUFI Plus is running.
In addition, I followed the tutorial on the official wiki: https://www.wufi-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... zchat.tech
where it shows that WUFI can open several geometry file types, such as .wps / .wpp / .xml / .mwp.
However, in my version WUFI Plus v3.5.0.1, only .mwp and .xml appear in the “Open project” dialog.
There is no option for .wps or .wpp, and I also cannot find any option to import geometry from external sources (e.g., SketchUp or gbXML).
Is this a version/installation issue, or has the workflow changed in the new releases? Has the external geometry import function (e.g., .wps, .wpp, gbXML) been removed in recent versions of WUFI Plus?If the function has been deprecated, is there any recommended workflow to import SketchUp geometry into the current version?
Any advice or explanations would be greatly appreciated.
