Hello,
I have a question about rain sources. I am currently simulating internal insulation on both plastered and non-plastered brick walls. Due to penetrating rain, I need to make the plaster or brick wall hydrophobic. However, I want to simulate rain bridging the hydrophobic layer due to a crack in the plaster or masonry joint of the brick wall. I tried using the 1% penetrating rain source under the hydrophobic layer to simulate this scenario and see if it can dry out. However, this figure is for ETICS. Is there any evidence that this figure is realistic, or does anyone know where I can find information about it?
Many thanks in advance!
