For a project, we did some lab testing the natural stone of the façade. The results on average are about 0.035 (kg/m2 05 s) for Acap, with a Wcap of 0.10 m3/m3 (immersion lab test).
However, when I enter these values in the material properties by changing the Liquid Transport Coefficient, Suction (I use 0.035 for the Water Absorption Coefficient and 100 kg/m3 for the Free Water Saturation), I get results that are completely different from I don't enter these values. The entire construction is almost entirely saturated all the time. RH is > 97% everywhere, all the time.
Whereas if I don't generate these values, simply use natural stone from the library with similar characteristics, it's not saturated at all.
Am I entering the values wrong?

Re: Capillary Absorption
Hi,
did you also adapt the coefficients for redistribution? Because suction is only used in the calculation while its raining.
Did you also adapt the moisture storage function and porosity? That should be consistent to your Wcap.
