Vapor Drive Through Wall System

Post by Cassie » Wed Oct 02, 2013 6:34 am -1100

Is there a way to quantify the vapor drive through the wall system using Wufi-Pro? I understand that you can obtain the moisture content of each material from the output graphs, but is there any additional means to quantify this vapor drive through the wall system as a whole?

After calculation a window named 'status of last calculation' pops up. There you can find the sum of fluxes through the surfaces. dl is diffusive left side, dr means diffusive right side. Sum up both and you get the vapour flux through the whole system.

You also can do an ascii-export (Output -> ASCII-Export) of the moisture fluxes for the material and construction boundaries and analyse them using a third party software like MS Excel. You will get hourly values which you can sum up.
