WUFI Bio 3.3 and ASHRAE Standard 160-2016

Post by Philip Dregger » Fri Mar 24, 2017 5:20 am -1100

Hi. I practice in the USA, routinely use IP units, and both WUFI Pro 5.3 and 6.0 (I probably don't need to explain why I still hold on to 5.3. But I digress...). My question is this - Does WUFI Bio 3.3 calculate the "mold index" the way recommended in ASHRAE Standard 160-2016? And, if the calculation methods are different, are the resultant mold index values significantly different?

Dear Phil,
for the mould index according to ASHRAE we will release a new post process module called WUFI Mould VTT.
It will be available at our homepage beginning of April 2017.
The results between WUFI Bio and WUFI VTT will vary as they are based on two differnent models.
Check here in about two weeks: https://wufi.de/en/software/wufi-add-ons/
