Dew Point in Wall Calculations

Post by Jmooreicon » Fri Jan 16, 2015 5:03 am -1100

I have been using WUFI Light 5.3 Non-Commercial in order to figure out how much water is retained in our wall construction. Is there a way to find the actual dew point or point of condensation within the wall through the analysis?

Hello,

in the calculation movie go to properties, open the section heat, there you will find the dewpoint. If you swich it to visible, you will see it in the movie screen.

After calcualtion you can go to WUFI Animation, enable dew point again. After that you can choose create course and you will see the course of the temperature and the dew point temperature during your calcualtion period.
