Wufi Pro 5.3 report unresponsive

Post by AaronAshley » Fri May 16, 2014 2:42 am -1100

After running a calculation in Wufi Pro 5.3, and selecting Output--> Report, the report window appears, but is unresponsive. I cannot select any buttons such as print, printer, close, etc. The only thing that I can do is scroll down through the report with the mouse wheel. In order to close the report, I have to open task manager and end task.

Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong? Could it be that I am using a trial key?

Thanks

The reason could be a missing printer. For the report it is important, that a printer is installed. If you have one installed, maybe install a second one and set it as default. Then try again.

Christian, thank you for the reply.

I have multiple printers installed, and changing the default printer doesn't seem to help, unfortunately.

Can you please try to set the default printer to default paper size DIN A4 instead of letter before opening WUFI and the report. I think there is some interaction with the printer settings.

It doesn't seem that was the answer either. The report window is still unresponsive.

Hmmm, what operating system do you use?

It looks like I may have found the culprit. There must be some argument between the Wufi software and Matrox software. My laptop is running a displayport cord out to a Matrox dual head 2 go box which splits the video for two screens. If I unplug the displayport cord and open Wufi from my laptop screen, the report window runs fine. Plugging the displayport cord back in to use dual monitors causes the report window to be unresponsive again.

If someone could resolve the software argument, that would be great, but until then, I'll be unplugging my monitors when I need to print.

Thanks for the assistance, Christian!
