I can not export simulation results from WUFI Pro 5.2 into Windows 7. The text file exported from WUFI Pro 5.2 can not be converted to excel using Microsoft excel 2010. Can someone HELP!

you can do it the following way:
(sorry if the names of the buttons/fields are not exactly the same, as I use a German version of excel and have to translate it)

- - Go to open file
- Change "Type of file" to "All files (*.*)"
- Select your file
- the assistant for import will open up
- (window step 1/3) select "separated" and as file source "Windows (ANSI)"
- press next
- (window step 2/3) as separator select "tabstop"
- press next
- (window step 3/3) press the button "more..." and for decimal separator select the point (.) if it is not already selected and for 1000 separator select something else (maybe blank ( )).
- press finish and your data should be imported correctly.

Your information were very helpful, I was able to import data from WUFi into excel files. However, I had to do a bit of guessing, so I am including below more detailed instructions with the exact heading from the English version of Microsoft Excel. I hope this will help our English users. Being able to do this operation saved me tremendous amount of time (going between 2 computers and 2 software versions!), so thank you very much for the help.
In order to import WUFI data files from WUFI Pro 5.2 into excel, proceed as following:
• Export the desired WUFI data as ASC- file
• Open a new excel file on your computer; Under “File” menu, click “Open”
• Next screen shows the documents library from which you want to open your ASC-file into excel;
− The default selection for the documents library is “All Excel Files”. Replace it with “All Files”.
− Scroll down under “File name” and select the name of your ASC-file you want to open in excel, then
− Click “Open”
• Next screen: Text import Wizard - Step 1 of 3
− Choose the file that best describes your data: “Delimited”
− Choose File Origin: “Windows (ANSI)”
− Click Next
•Next screen: Text import Wizard - Step 2 of 3
− Delimiters: select both “Tab” and “Space”
− Click Next
• Next Screen: Text import Wizard - Step 3 of 3
− Under column data format: Choose “General”
− Click on “Advanced…” box and select:
≈ Decimal separator: “.” (dot)
≈ Thousands separator: “,” (comma)
− Click OK
• Next screen: Click “Finish”
Sometimes the new excel file opens with scientific numbers – go to File/Format/Format Cells/Number and under “Category” select “Number” with the number of decimals you wish to display. Now save the excel file and you are done!

If you do not like the scientific number format, you also can change the export format in WUFI (new in WUFI Pro 5.2):
Options -> Export Format...
