Hello Carrie,

in your installation folder of Wufi (usually C:\PÜrogram Files\IBP-Software\) you find a folder "tools". In there is an excel-sheet "CreateClimateFile.xls". Use this one. You can generate a wac or a kli file...

Can you please open the kli-file with an editor and post the first 20 lines. Use the code button at the beginning and end for that...
Thanx,
Christian

Hello Carrie,
reopen the CreateClimateFile.xls
In Air Humidity you inserted values in percent, but used [0...1]. Please change that and export again...

Hello,
I need to use the kli file with a time step of 0.42 h (equivalent to 1500 s) to fit the experimental time step conditionds.
So how should I do ? I tried several times but I always obtained an error message saying "time not in ascending order in line 1" .Also how should I do to use only the start time ? My last question is which time step must be entered, will it be 1500 s

Thank you
Yours

Hello
Ineed your help please. I created my KLI file with a time step of 60s that I put in hours but no file is created.
If the time step is not regular is that could avoid the creation of the file please. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWERS

Hello Ines,
for the kli file you have to enter hours in the first col. So if you have 60sec, the values should be 0.02, 0.04 etc.
If you did so, please post the first lines of your kli-File or xls file.

Guten morgen Fraunhofer people :)

I have been using a kli file to simulate wall performance using fire test data.

The test runs for 20 minutes and records temp at 5 second intervals.

A couple of questions please:

1 KLI file inputs - is the time sequence 0.00, 0.05.....0.55, 0.60 etc or 0.55, 1.00, 1.05 etc?
2 Under "Calc Period / Profiles", for "Time step [1h]" - is 0.05 correct for the 5 second step in the recorded data?
3 Under "Start & End Profiles" - do I adjust the number of hours to match the number of 5 second steps?

As always, thank you for your support.
James
