Hello James,
1 KLI file inputs - is the time sequence 0.00, 0.05.....0.55, 0.60 etc or 0.55, 1.00, 1.05 etc?
Nope, you have to relate it to the hour:
1s = 1/3600; 5s = 5*1/3600 = 0.001388889h
2 Under "Calc Period / Profiles", for "Time step [1h]" - is 0.05 correct for the 5 second step in the recorded data?
No, 0.001388889h
3 Under "Start & End Profiles" - do I adjust the number of hours to match the number of 5 second steps?
In the Start&End-Profiles you can enter the time in hh:mm:ss, so why not enter 00:00:00 to 00:20:00?

Ahh! Thank you learned person :D

...but one more question please. The "Temp Transport Calc" simulation appears to run ok, but when I add "Moisture Transport Calc" the temp outcomes appear not to respond?

Is this because the temp range (up to 1000) is outside the accepted range for moisture calcs?

Hej James,
your temp range is up to 1000°C?
That exceeds the limits of the calculation model. With that high temperatures the vapor pressure in the assembly is much higher than the atmospheric pressure. The equations of WUFI are not adapted for such conditions.

Thanks Christian - been trying to understand what happens to a wall assembly under ISO 9705 testing...called the full room test because you line a 3.6 x 2.4 x2.4m room and turn on the burner. Temp vary a fair bit, but at the hot end they can reach 1000C.

Been are really useful learning experience, even if the outcomes input are too extreme...wufi= :o :shock: :D

I really think that it is important for you to realize that applied thermodynamics in building science, which covers about -30°C to about 70°C, is totally different compared to 1000°.
