inputting indoor climate actual data

Post by GWong » Thu Mar 22, 2012 9:06 am -1100

I'm running into trouble trying to use a .wac file for the indoor climate. Under Climate> Indoor > Map/File, I was not able to browse for the .wac file I created for indoor conditions because the Browse button is greyed out. I'm wondering if there's some setting or options that I chose that is causing this to be a problem?

Hello GWong,
do you use the Wufi Light or ORNL? In the test versions it is not possible to import your own climate files.

Hi Christian, I am using WUFI Pro 5.1. I was able to create and use a .wac file for the outdoor climate, but was unable to browse for my indoor climate file using the same process.
Thanks! -Grace

Hello Grace,
please control if the box "use left climate" is unchecked. It is at the right side of the browse-button.

I have recorded hourly indoor Temperature and Humidity of my case study in one year period now I want to import my measurement indoor conditions (Relative Humidity and Temperature) during the whole period of my simulation.I have two questions:
1- Is there a special format for indoor climate or it is same as outdoor?Because for indoor there are just Temperature and Relative Humidity.
2-How can import this created file?
if the box "use left climate" is unchecked, the right side of the browse-button will be activated. Is this way correct for importing the indoor Climate file?

king Regards,
Samira

Hello Samira,
1) you can use the CreateClimate file. You only need to fill Temperature and relative humidity.
2) yes, you disable "use from left" and then select fom map/file and there use the user-defined tab.
