Export the weather data

Post by WEI LI » Thu Dec 09, 2021 4:02 pm -1100

Hi there,

I am using the climate data from the WUFI data base for simulation.
I want to know the temperature and relative humidity of the outdoor of a specific time period.
Is that possible to export the climate data of the outdoor? Or is there anyway we can know the climate data of a specific period?

Thank you!
Regards

Hi Wei Li,
we are not allowed to give out the climate as ASCII. Please see here:

There is a kind of workaround:
If you set up a construction for example from insulation and use a very high heat transfer coefficient (setting "Basement") the monitor position to your climate will give you approximately the values from the climate file.

Best regards
Christian

Thanks, Chris. In this case, is the RH in line with that from the climate file?

Hi Wei Li,

yes, that should be the case in this calculation because of the high transfer coefficient. If you use a material with low heat capacity and low thermal conductivity at the surface you should be close to the climate file.

Best regards
Christian
