Modeling short term Indoor climate/HVAC temp/RH setbacks

Post by Michael Hurd » Fri Apr 27, 2018 5:00 am -1100

Is there a way I can model short term changes in Indoor climate/HVAC setting in WUFI? First example: I have a project where there is a workout room in the facility, for 2 hours a day they host a "hot" yoga class which involves temps up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and 60% RH. Second example would be typical evening or weekend setback scenario in an office building where during the day the Temp might be 72 and at night perhaps 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Setback might also take place on the weekends.
Respectfully,

Hello Michael,
you would need to create your own climate file using CreateClimateFile.xls (Installation Folder\Tools). Probably run first a simulation with some other indoor climate design and then use the results to modify it to your desires.
