simulation of rising damp

Post by evahajkova » Sun Jun 12, 2016 11:08 pm -1100

Hello,

I would like to ask, how to model the water rising from the subsoil? I have a brick masonry pillar with both sides underground by placing sand on both sides of the wall. The sand was saturated (RH 95%) during the test. The lower edge of the pillar is permanently immersed in water. How should I simulate a layer of water?

Thank you for your advice

Eva

I create a wac file containing rain in each our and use it as boundary condition. See also:

Demo-Films about wac are here:

Sorry, page is in German only at the moment, but the movies are English.
