Substrate Class for painting

Post by thiago.afonso » Tue Apr 24, 2018 1:47 am -1100

Hallo, wie geht es Dir?

I have a small doubt.

In which substrate class should I classify a painted wall? It dependes on the type of paint used? Should I assume the same substrate underneath the paint?

Thanks for helping.

Hello Thiago, there does not exist a lot of information to backup any decision and ASHRAE Standard 160 is pretty much silent on this too. To be on the safe side I would use "medium sensitive" with a decline coefficient of 0.1.
