Condensation Check

I want to assess the risk of interstitial condensation at specific points in the build up. I have set up monitor positions at the relevant points and am looking at the graph of dew point and temperature.

I notice that as I move from the inside to outside the separation between actual temperature and dew point temperature progressivly reduces and eventually crosses within the insulation build up.

Does this mean I in effect have condensation at this point all the time?

Yes, when the temperature is less than the dew point temperature you will have condensation.

The amount of condensate (i.e. liquid water from condensation) will depend on the amount of moisture present in the air and how long this condition exists.
