output data derivation

Everything concerning the adequate application of WUFI in the USA and Canada depending on local conditions e.g. architecture, building codes, standardization, laws et cetera.

output data derivation

Post by malimog » Mon Apr 25, 2011 6:46 am -1100

hello
last week i tried to simulate exactly some simulations which already has done by Dr.Kuenzel in his paper (he has sent me input file) ,and i need exactly that results in output data but there was a derivation in my result however it is not big but i want to know that is it normal or not?

Dear Malimog,

do you mean simulation done by Dr. Künzel in his PhD Thesis?
If so, well , this was almost 20 years ago and the model/software changed a little in this time. So minor derivations are expected and at least in my knowledge do not have an impact on the final conclusion.

Can you agree on that?

first of all thanks for your prompt response.
The simulation is for his paper on 2008 (condensation problems in cool roofs) .I agree with you that slight difference in results can not impact on our conclusion but i want to make sure that i fully understand the software and its features in order to rum my own simulation.i don't want to miss any parameter.
thanks
