icynene insulation

Post by yalinu » Tue Feb 10, 2009 2:33 pm -1100

Hello All,

I am looking for the properties of icynene insulation.

Density and conductivity are readily available, however the manufacturers do not have the liquid Transport Coefficients and Moisture Storage Functions.

I would appreciate if anyone can forward me any sources for materials.
If you are interested here is the general website for the material www.icynene.com

Best,
Yalin

Dear Yalin,

this insulation looks like a sprayed foam. It is important to know whether it is a closed cell or an open cell spray foam.

In WUFI´s "Generic North America" database we has one of each. I would use one of them.
