Floor assembly over detention pond

Post by btcpc » Thu Apr 02, 2015 7:30 am -1100

Hello,

I would like to model a floor assembly which is slightly elevated over a detention pond. Therefore, the exterior side will be on the bottom, and it will never be subjected to sunlight. Also, the bottom exterior side will occasionally be subject to high humidity when there is water in the detention pond. How can I model this assembly with WUFI Pro?

Thank you,
Mike W.

Dear Mike,
in WUFI Pro radiation and rain can only be set on the left side of the construction. As you do not need that in your construction, it does not matter in which direction you build in your assembly.

For the side over the pond you have to choose suitable conditions. Maybe you have measured data. If you have own climate data, you can assign them by using the excel-sheet in the WUFI tools folder called CreateClimateFile.xls
