HDF5-DIAG : Error detected in HDF5 (1.8.17) thread 0

Post by eunseop ahn » Wed Sep 16, 2020 9:30 pm -1100

Hello!
I am a beginner of WUFI 2D 4.3.
I am trying to simulate a steel structure modular house junction.
I modeled as below, and I haven't put in the source yet.
An error occurred in the calculation result, and the result is unknown.
What is the cause of the error?
*.wfd simulation result file was not created.

** Questions
1) What is the cause of the error?
2) Is there a size limit for modeling supported by the WUFI 2D?
3) Is it possible to model a 1mm thick steel structure?

Best Regards,
Ahn

Hi eunseop ahn,

your construction is to big for the grid setting, so the grid can not be fully build. There is a little red error message in your grid window, you should not ignore. Please try to increase the maximum grid elements from 150 to 300.
Further you build a detail with a very high grade of details. You should think about simplifying your construction.

Hi, Christian Bludau!
Thank you so much for the very quick answer.
I will try again as you taught me.
This WUFI-forum is really helpful, and thanks again to Christian for kindly responding to all the articles.

Best Regards,
Eunseop Ahn
