Material Thickness

Post by j.martin » Fri Apr 08, 2016 4:55 am -1100

Does WUFI 2D automatically adjust the material property data based on the thickness of the layer geometry it is applied to? What do I do if the material thickness in the material database do not match the actual thickness of the layer I have drawn?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,
Material properties in WUFI are set up in a way so that are independet of thickness. Typically, meaning for homogenious materials, you only need to adjust the thickness and thats it.

Should the material thickness be edited through the material properties interface or does WUFI automatically recognize and adjust the thickness based on the geometry it is assigned to?

Thanks,
Jason

The thickness from the geometry will do the job.
