Assigning Layers in Historical Building

Hi,

I am working on a historical building in the Wufi plus program.
In the historical building where I work, the floor beams are spaced every 50 cm. How should I enter this while entering the layer? Like a appendix 1
Again, in the historical building, the wooden wall coverings do not reach the ceiling. There's plaster bits up on the wall. How can I assign it in layer? Like a appendix 2
There are built-in wardrobes on many walls of the historical building. About 30cm deep. How should the air gap here be defined when layering?

Hi tuba,

concerning the air layers:

An air layer thickness of 30 cm is beyond the tabulated data on which WUFI's air layer properties are based. For 30 cm you may use the following data which are based on the air layer property formulas of standard DIN EN 673:

For air layer thickness 30 cm:

effective thermal conductivity: 1.9 W/(m K)
effective mu-value: 0.06

Yes, please take one of the existing air layers (in order to re-use the other properties which are independent of thickness and always remain the same, such as the bulk density etc.) and replace the thermal conductivity, the mu value and the thickness by the new values.

If you wish to save the data set for use in other WUFI projects, you can write it to a user-defined catalog in the material database, or you can export the data to an XML file and import it later into another project. These options are accessible in the material data dialog.
