How to assign "optional climate" to "design conditions"

Post by Alina0826 » Mon Jul 23, 2018 12:26 pm -1100

Hello WUFI Plus Team:

I am writing my master thesis using WUFI Plus.
I have a question about design condition setting.

How can I use optional climate (for example: ASHRAE 160) to assign design conditions in simulated zone?
I only can find two options in design conditions "Periodic Day Profiles" and "External Files".

What I am using is WUFI Plus V.3.1.1.0.

Hello Alina,

if you want to use an optional climate for an zone, you predefine the climate in the zone. It's not 'simulated' any more and the design conditions are not necessary.

For the Zone in the General-Tab you can select 'Maintain optional climate ()' for the interior climate. Then you set the optional climate.
In that case, heating, cooling, dehumidification and humidification is calculated (not depending on the HVAC System input), to keep exactly those optional climate.
