More on prepopulating boundary conditions from passive house model

Post by maren@rodell.design » Tue Jan 02, 2018 1:19 pm -1100

Looking into the boundary conditions carried over from the passive house model, I though there was something odd happening with ventilation. The dynamic side takes the summer ventilation numbers for day and night and adds them and applies the total to the period from May to October, instead of automatically setting up a day profile to show that part of the ventilation only happening at night. So unless I add that profile, the cooling demand is showing 20 - 25% higher than it should with natural ventilation happening only at night. Is this something I need to adjust manually in the dynamic side?

Yes, only the sum of mechanical ventialtion and the sum of natural ventilation is set constant for the whole day for the summer ventilation (so far, Version 3.1), for a month is not a heating month.
