The WUFI® versions 4.0 and 4.1 has been tested extensively on Windows XP and 2000.

Tests on Windows Vista (Buisness Version) leads to the following results:

- The online help system is not supported any more by Windows Vista. Microsoft has announced that the help viewer (WinHlp32.exe) will be offered for separate download from their site. Further information:

For emergency help we offer the online help as a pdf file for download:

- A time licensed installation (ORNL and LIGHT version) runs only with administrator privilegs.

- Pre-installed example projects can only be overwritten with administrator privilegs. Not allowed write access to any file leads to "Access violation"

WUFI® 4.2 at Windows Vista

- has an updated help system
- works with time licensed serial numbers

WUFI® 4.1 installation CD at Windows Vista suggests sometimes to install IExplore 5 or/and MDAC Components.

Do not install this!!!
Run the File Install_WUFI4.exe manually.
